I received a bachelor's degree in History and Computational Science at Eckerd College, where my coursework included Physics, Biology, Mathematics, and Computer Science. My studies involved programming and modeling physical models of science. I also attended the University of Houston, where I obtained a master's degree. As a graduate student, I tutored students in Computer Science. I also taught college level Information Technology. My first round of being a professional educator was quite successful! As a graduate student, I completed many mathematics courses and therefore have a strong grasp of Applied Math. Currently, I work as a high school math and chemistry teacher at Dunedin Academy. I think every student has the inherent capacity to learn; however, it's a group effort. The student, teachers, and tutor must all play their parts. As a tutor, I am definitely an "algebraist." I can help students with a variety of math-related courses, including Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Differential Equations, Statistics, Trigonometry, Competition Math, Multivariable Calculus, Arithmetic, Finite Mathematics, Statistics Graduate Level, and AP Calculus AB. I can also help students in Computer Science as well as Spanish, European History, American History, AP United States History, Social Studies, and Test Prep for the ACT, SAT, PSAT, and GRE.In my free time, I enjoy historical films and programming mathematical functions.
